Our clients usually use our end-to-end garden design and build service, so they are working with the same team from start to finish. This gives confidence in the overall project and allows us to develop an open and transparent relationship that delivers a stunning finished garden. Our expert landscaping teams build to our specific designs, and also work as contractors for a number of other award-winning garden designers, bringing schemes of all types and sizes to life.
How does the design to build process work?
Once you have approved your detailed garden design, we will work with you and provide a detailed breakdown of all the elements necessary to complete the project. This fully quantified and priced quote allows you as a client to see all the items and associated costs to help you make the all important decisions. From these discussions we will then proceed to build the scheme and where necessary appoint approved contractors who will be onsite alongside our team to help with any specialist tasks that may be required. We would continue to manage the whole project, including:
- Ground levelling and excavation
- Management of sloping or terraced landscapes
- Drainage, service and utility supplies and electrical outputs
- Hard and soft landscaping
- Construction of garden structures and water features, including swimming pools and tennis courts
- Building of terraces, paths, steps and multi-level buildings
- Specialist planting, including large trees and hedging
We would have fortnightly or monthly meetings along with valuations that reflect the work undertaken to the various stages agreed upon; so you would be updated throughout the project and we are always on hand to answer any questions, or give you any explanations of the work taking place. This hands-on approach means you can track progress at all times and are fully supported until the project is complete.
