We were approached by a couple who wished to revamp their side garden of a recently purchased new home. The existing swimming pool had been closed off from a lower area that housed a hot tub by a large brick wall, the shrubs had become unruly and the existing paving slabs were looking old and tired.

We were instructed to create a more engaging series of spaces for our clients so that they could entertain family and friends. We proposed a new covered canopy to house a new Grillo bbq area that is adjacent to a larger seating area and used a Pogessi umbrella that provides a refuge for shade whilst not restricting views into the lower section of the garden having removed the obtrusive brick wall.

A contemporary suspended fire pit is the focal centerpiece of the lower area where you are submerged within the planting, subtle lighting and uplit wall art create the ultimate end-of-evening retreat for family and friends.
